The Department of Business Management offers 14 Bachelor trainings. In each of these trainings the focus is on practice: during workshops and internships students are given the opportunity to apply what they have learned in class. Each year is divided into 4 terms. One term equals 6 weeks, including 2 weeks of assessment.

Professional Bachelor of Business Management

Accountancy and Taxation

Your profile:
Tables and numbers fascinate you. You work with precision.

Your training:
By analyzing real-life annual accounts you will learn all about accountancy and taxation. Furthermore you will acquire the necessary language and computer skills.

Your future:
You will probably find a job at an accountancy office or a financial institution.

Finance and Insurance

Your profile:
You like to keep yourself informed about the latest changes on the financial market. You work with precision.

Your training:
You will learn how to advise clients with regard to their financial files and problems.

Your future:
You will probably find a job as a stock market analyst, an investment consultant, a leasing expert, an insurance broker, etc.

Law

Your profile:
You are interested in the juridical aspects of the business world. You work with precision and are willing to improve your language and computer skills.

Your training:
You will learn all about the rules and regulations that companies and organizations are to live by.

Your future:
Paralegals can be found almost everywhere: at health insurance offices, at social services, in law firms, at the town council, in large companies, etc.

Logistics Management

Your profile:
You are fascinated by international trade and foreign contacts.

Your training:
You will learn all about transport and logistics. Furthermore, your communicative and language skills will be trained.

Your future:
You will probably find a job as a dispatcher, a shipping agent, a logistics service provider, etc.

Marketing

Your profile:
You are a creative and dynamic person. The thought of responsibility does not frighten you.

Your training:
You will learn how to introduce a new product to the market, how to calculate profits and to advertise.

Your future:
You will probably find a job as an accountant executive at a communication office, a store manager of a chain of stores, an event manager, a marketing researcher, a sales representative or manager, a key account manager, etc.

SME-Management and Entrepreneurial Studies

Your profile:
You are a born leader. You are aware of the importance of structure and planning ahead.

Your training:
You will learn all about management, marketing and finance.

Your future:
You will probably find a job at an existing SME or you might even start your own company.

Professional Bachelor of Office Management

Event and Project Management

Your profile:
You are a creative and open minded person that is aware of the importance of structure and planning.

Your training:
You will learn how to fluently speak four languages, to master project and multimedia software and to understand marketing and PR.

Your future:
You will probably find a job as coordinator or project assistant in a multinational, a smaller SME or the event sector itself.

Executive Management Assistant

Your training:
The focus of your training will be on acquiring language and communicative skills as well as the necessary IT skills.

You will probably find a job as an HR-officer or sales officer at a multinational, a smaller SME, a non-profit organization, in tourism, etc.

International Management Assistant

Your training:
You will learn to fluently speak and write four languages and you will acquire the necessary IT skills.

Your training:
You will learn how to work with the leading programming languages and how to use them while solving specific software problems that companies might have.

Your future:
You will probably find a job as a software designer, a project leader, a service manager, a quality manager etc. in IT companies as well as in other companies.

System and Network Management

Your profile:
You know how to translate technical computer language in order to make it understandable for everyone.

Your training:
You will learn all about the leading computer technologies and how to write your own scripts.

Since each company or organization needs a well functioning IT system you won’t have any problem finding a job.
