Students with ADD/ADHD, tic disorder, developmental coordination disorder/DCD/dyspraxia, developmental dysphasia, developmental stuttering

How can you demonstrate this?

One of the following certificates will automatically be accepted:

  • ADD/ADHD: medical certificate from a psychiatrist, neurologist or psychologist, preferably the professional who is treating/has treated you
  • tic disorder: medical certificate from a psychiatrist, neurologist or neuropaediatrician, preferably the professional who is treating/has treated you
  • developmental coordination disorder/DCD/dyspraxia: medical certificate from a psychiatrist, neurologist, neuropaediatrician or multidisciplinary team (e.g. COS - Centre for Developmental Disorders), preferably the professional who is treating/has treated you
  • developmental dysphasia: medical certificate from a doctor, preferably the professional who is treating/has treated you
  • developmental stuttering: medical certificate from a doctor, preferably the professional who is treating/has treated you
  • 'documentation for attestation' of ADD/ADHD, tic disorder, developmental coordination disorder/DCD/dyspraxia, developmental dysphasiadevelopmental stuttering

How do you apply for an Individual Learning Certificate (ILC)?

The onus always lies with you, the student, to apply for an ILC.

To ensure that everything goes smoothly right from the start at KdG, it is important to submit your application in good time. You find the deadlines for submitting your ILC in the academic calender of your course.
