The degree programme International Business Management is an English-taught bachelor’s degree programme. The programme has 3 specialisations: Global Business, International Entrepreneurship and Global Supply Chain Management. We are looking for a lecturer in Marketing.

Business for Exchange is the programme specially designed for Erasmus students at KdG. We are looking for a lecturer in Marketing.

Your role

As a lecturer, you will contribute to the growth process of our students as driven professionals. You reflect on new learning content and teaching methods, coach students as part of their learning process, give feedback and evaluate their growth.

Your duties

  • You teach Global Marketing to 1st year students of International Business Management.
  • You teach Strategic and Operational Marketing to 2nd year students of International Business Management.
  • You teach Digital Marketing Strategy and Trends in Marketing to the Erasmus students.
  • You encourage and support students to develop themselves and to achieve the desired competencies. You seek solutions to deal with diversity within student groups in a result-oriented manner.
  • You provide students with feedback to help them achieve their academic goals.
  • You teach on one of our campuses: Groenplaats, Stadswaag or Pothoek.

Your profile

  • You have a strong understanding of the business world and marketing at international level.
  • You have the ability to take on the role of a coach and to guide students in their learning process.
  • You can translate your acquired expertise into a tailored teaching approach. You know how to motivate
  • You are a team player. You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • You are convinced of the importance of lifelong learning and stay up to date with new developments, incorporating them into your teaching methods. Educational innovation and innovative teaching methods are also topics that you will be happy to delve into.
  • You can use ICT applications in the execution of your work. At KdG, we work with the current Office365 programs, the Canvas learning management system and the e-studentservice digital platform.
  • You have minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
  • You have worked in an international environment.

In addition, you hold a master's degree in marketing or a business-related field.

The English-taught degree programmes at KdG require a C1 diploma for English. As a non-native Dutch speaker, you have a B2 for Dutch or are willing to acquire it as soon as possible.

  • We reimburse 100% of your travel expenses if you use public transport for your commute. You will be paid a €0.21/ km bicycle allowance if you commute by bike.
