This Business Management campus is located in the historic centre of Antwerp. The campus is easily accessible on foot as well as by bike, public transport or a combination of these.

Bicycle

Are you cycling from Antwerpen-Centraal Station to the campus? If so, you should allow for a cycling time of about 10 minutes. Franklin Rooseveltplaats is about 5 minutes by bicycle.

Or do you prefer to use the Velo bike service? There are two Velo stations near the campus at Minderbroedersrui and at Mutsaardplein (station numbers 050 and 051). 

Train

Antwerpen-Centraal Station is 2 km from the campus. Check the timetable of the Belgian railway service NMBS.

Tram and Bus

Franklin Rooseveltplaats is approximately 1 km from the campus. Several tram and bus routes operate in the immediate vicinity of the campus.

Car

There is no car park at the campus, but you can park nearby at the Scheldekaaien Noord paid car park.

Campus Stadswaag lies in the red parking zone. Overzicht parkeerzones en tarieven (Overview of parking zones and rates in Dutch).

This campus lies within the city of Antwerp's low emission zone. Whether or not your vehicle is permitted to enter this zone depends on the Euronorm emission standards: take the online test.

Fiets

Je kan je fiets kwijt in de ruime fietsenstalling in de kelder van de campus. Fiets je vanuit station Antwerpen-Centraal of Antwerpen-Berchem naar de campus? Dan moet je op ongeveer een kwartiertje trappen rekenen.

Liever met de Velo? Er zijn meerdere stations vlakbij: aan de Troonplaats (086), Justitiepaleis (081 en 160) en aan station Antwerpen-Zuid (010 en 012).

Trein

Station Antwerpen-Zuid ligt op 500m van de campus. Check de dienstregeling!

Auto

Er is geen parkeerplaats op de campus voor studenten, maar je kan wel parkeren in de buurt bij het Provinciaal Instituut PIVA (aan de Desguinlei), op de Konijnenwei en parkeergarage 't Zuid.

Deze campus bevindt zich binnen de lage-emissiezone van de stad Antwerpen. Of je voertuig de zone wel of niet binnen mag, hangt af van de Euronorm: online test.

Toegang tot de campus

• Je kan vlot naar binnen langs de automatische toegangsdeuren van de inkomhal.
• Alle verdiepingen zijn bereikbaar met de lift:
  • Een liftpas krijg je aan het onthaal.
  • Liften zijn uitgerust met brailleknoppen, maar niet met auditieve ondersteuning.
  • Het liftplan helpt rolstoelgebruikers de trappen te vermijden.
  • Als de bib gesloten is, kan je die lift (lift X op het plan) helaas niet gebruiken en geraak je dus ook niet op de 5de verdieping.
• Het onthaal is centraal bereikbaar en heeft een lage balie voor rolstoelgebruikers.
• Er kan een aangepaste parkeerplaats voorzien worden.

Toiletten

• Op elke verdieping van blokken X, Y en Z vind je meerdere aangepaste sanitaire voorzieningen
• In de W-blok is er enkel op het gelijkvloers aangepast sanitair.
• Een genderneutraal toilet vind je op de 2de verdieping van de X-blok en achter de Eetbar.

Andere lokalen

• Alle andere leslokalen, aula’s, praktijkruimtes, eetbar … zijn goed toegankelijk. De trappen in de aula’s hebben geen leuning.
• In de bib vind je stille studieplekken.

We kiezen voor een campus in en voor de buurt. We werken nauw samen met de omwonenden, het verenigingsleven, de bedrijven, de social-profit organisaties en de overheidsinstellingen rond cultuur, vrije tijd, jeugdwerk, wijkwerking, diversiteit- en migratie ….
Misschien loop jij daar binnenkort wel stage of werk je een project uit met de buurt voor een opleidingsonderdeel? De buurt is een levensechte praktijkruimte waar je tal van competenties kan ontwikkelen.

You can park your bicycle in the spacious bicycle parking facility in the campus basement. Are you cycling from Antwerpen-Centraal Station or Antwerpen-Berchem Station to the campus? If so, you should allow for a cycling time of about 15 minutes.

Car

Please note: due to the famous ‘cutting-of’ or closure of the Leien as part of ongoing Antwerp roadworks, it is no longer possible to go from the north to the south of the city via the Leien. So make sure to check the changing traffic situation at Smartest route to Antwerp.

There is no car park available for students at the campus, but you can park nearby at Provinciaal Instituut PIVA (at Desguinlei) and at Vlaamse Kaai.

Access to the campus

• You can easily enter through the automatic access doors to the entrance hall.
• All floors are accessible by the lift:
  • You can get a lift pass at the reception.
  • The lifts are equipped with Braille buttons. There is no audio support available.
  • The lift map helps wheelchair users avoid staircases.
  • If the library is closed , you cannot use the lift there (lift X on the map). The 5th floor cannot be accessed with the lift in that case.
• The reception is centrally located. There is a low desk especially for wheelchair users.
• An adapted parking spot can be provided.

Restrooms

• On each floor in the X, Y and Z blocks, there are multiple adapted sanitary facilities.
• In the W block, there is only one adapted restroom on the ground floor.
• There is a gender neutral restroom on the 2nd floor in block X and behind the restaurant.

Classrooms

• Each classroom, lecture hall, practice room, etc. is easily accessible.
• There's no railing on the stairs in the lecture halls.

Other rooms

• All other rooms, the library, office space, service desk, restaurant, etc. are easily accessible.
• There are silent study areas in the library.

If you are thinking of cancelling your enrolment, please contact the Study Programme Career Coordinator or the Student Office as soon as possible. By doing so, you can reduce your losses in terms of credits and budget.

Reimbursement of tuition fees

Timing is key for calculating any reimbursement when withdrawing from a bachelor’s or master’s. Check our Education and Examination Regulations 2024-25 for full details. See Appendix 1, 11.1.3 & 11.1.4.

Non-EEA students who pay the higher fee

If you are unable to obtain your visa in time to start your studies and therefore cannot proceed with enrolment, you are liable to a full refund of your tuition fees, except for the cost of the application fee. This refund is only applicable prior to the start of the academic year.

Recovery of credits

Cancellation of enrolment also has consequences for your learning account. 

If you wish to cancel your enrolment, it is best that you contact KdG Stuvo, our Student Services department. They have all the information regarding your status after cancellation of enrolment, e.g. in relation to child allowance, study allowance and your duties as an early school-leaver.
